Girls Don't Always Sing About Boys
In this week's episode, we'll be discussing how media content influences how women are viewed and interacted with when it comes to finding love 3. We take examples of cultural norms and practices (that expand into the music industry) and explain their movement to how language is shared within a community. Using this as evidence we discuss how linguistic relativity with media plays a part in reinforcing these cultural practices. All through Ego Ella May's song "Girls don't always sing about boys".
