Join us for this episode with Army veteran James Bennett as he talks about his personal journey with wild psilocybe cubensis mushrooms in Florida, recovering from trauma after the military, and lifestyle choices. We talk about the psychedelic experience and its usage as a tool for mental health improvement. James details how using psychedelics has offered him personal insight into his relationship with his children.

In this episode Ryan interviews Drew Houchin. Drew tells us about his life and struggles with addiction, imprisonment, and personal trauma. He highlights his experience sitting for Ayahuasca with Don Howard in Peru as well as several stories of his life as he heals himself through psychedelic medicines.

In this episode Ryan puts out a call to action for the psychedelic community. His research has uncovered a potentially psychedelic plant that is currently unknown to the mainstream culture. In an attempt to encourage collaborative research, Ryan is putting a plea out to the community to collect trip reports, additional information, and shared knowledge about this plant. Watch to learn more about Bakanawa (Scirpus acutus)  Although I stated this multiple times in the video, I feel the need to say this here for anyone not paying attention-- this is not a scheduled drug so it is 100% legal, but that doesn't mean go ingest it. There is simply not enough information out there for this to be considered a safe choice.
