The Fortune Teller Fab Folktales

This is an Assamese folktale about a man named 'Phoring'. This is taken from the famed collection of stories written by a literary great - Shri Lakshminath Bezbaruah called 'Burhi Aair Xadhu'. Some words in the story hold their pure essence in the Assamese language itself and is very delightful to the ear when the story telling is done in Assamese. I have tried my utmost best to approach this story in English by trying to keep a close resemblance to that essence.
