    • Spirituality

Today I am honoured to have Dr Stefan Malecek with me once again to discuss his experience of being in the Vietnam War. He goes into detail about his role in the army, day to day life, the effects of war on the mind and soul and recounts some of his most terrifying and life-changing experiences. He finishes by telling us what he has learned from being in the war, how it has forever changed hm and the wisdom that he has obtained from his time serving in the army.

"Dr. Stefan J. Malecek has worked extensively with Trauma-affected clients, including 100% PTSD Veterans. He spent nearly 2 decades working on in-patient psychiatric care units in the San Franscisco Bay area and nearly a decade in community mental health out-patient facilities, followed by 5 years in a private psychotherapy practice.  He is the author of the acclaimed Paul Marzeky Mystery series: Crazy Tales of Combat Psychiatry, Unwitting Witness, Alchemy’s Angels, Spirals of Time, The Gilded Edges Of Shadow. The Crucible of Shame: Healing the Societal Roots of Addiction and "Mental Illness" and Trauma and Transformation are his first published non-fiction books."
