The Berrien Community Foundation has awarded an $81,000 For Good Grant to the Berrien County Parks Department for a new playground at Silver Beach County Park. 

The United Way of Southwest Michigan is looking for teams to sign up for its Rock The Boat Cardboard Boat Races taking place next month.

The city of New Buffalo has been awarded a $600,000 grant from the state to replace lead water lines.
