Episode 1 - Sheltered 10601 Sabo

On October 29th 1996 78-year-old Catalina Palomino was murdered in her apartment in Houston, Texas. Her 15-year-old neighbour, Jennifer Jeffley, was arrested and confessed to being involved in the murder. She was found guilty at trial and sentenced to life in prison. Despite her confessions, and not denying involvement at trial, Jennifer now maintains that she was not involved in the murder. 

My name is Danni, and I'll be looking into the murder and whether or not Jennifer was involved. In today's episode, I set out what happened, how I became interested in this case, and explain why the picture painted by Jennifer and her advocates may not be the whole truth.
