Interview with Queen Sahra Cooper QUEEN to QUEEN PODCAST

    • Spirituality

Queen Sahra Cooper is most certainly a woman walking with a purpose. It has been a journey for sure she was raised in a home with an atheist and baptized at age 13. Married a nonbeliever and alcoholic which she stated was very challenging to be married to someone that doesn't share your beliefs. A few years ago met her current husband and feel it was God-ordained. The crazy story of how God intended for them to be together but timing is everything. As she stated We had to get through things to appreciate a mature Godly relationship. Currently, my husband council my ex-husband when he needs someone or Godly advice. God saved me from Covid as I was an ICU patient. This was a clear message to me that God was not done with me and I still have work to do. Since then God gave us a business to use as a platform to share the good news and how god is still moving in our lives. We do bible study 7 days a week. Focus on making every day count and living the kingdom life and not the worldly. God is teaching us many things in the season; how correction and acceptance are necessary for change to occur. When you hold on to baggage(hurt, pain, anger, jealousy) too long, it gets heavy and speeds you down. My daily schedule is to wake up at 5:25 and then report for duty at Jefferson barracks till 2:30. Talk the kids into doing chores them argue with them how it's not abuse, lol but a life skill. Dinner, doing tasks for our business and kids bible study and our bible study. Her children include : Joe who is autistic: when he was 10 I had to run to the store. (he has a very inquisitive mind and likes to know how things work) on that day it got the best of him. He took apart his bean bag and literally threw the foam beads in the air and kissed it. It was snowing inside our home. I could have started yelling but understood honestly the damage was done so I let him and his little sister play in it. Cleaning up was a whole other issue with anxiety attacks. Arrianna is very strong-willed, beautiful, reclusive, and doesn't care to be social. Joe is good at art, intelligent, and funny Kiara is strong and smart as she speaks parts of 10 different languages, and is big into fitness, she also has her candle line and has dabbled in motivational speaking. Challenges are self-esteem and social interaction. Fun things that the family is eating in this season...The new thing I made that the family loves is a keto cheesecake. Heavy cream, cream cheese, alternate powdered sugar, and lemon zest. Everyone loves it. I do put just enough gram crackers in the bottom for taste but use plant-based butter. Self-care- If you don't take care of yourself you cant take care of others. Invest in yourself you are worth it and valued. We are actively helping to plant a church. We love God and people even the imperfect ones. We are also involved in Men standing Positive. Sahra's Covid- Testimony will bring tears to your eyes.... Lastly, I want to share my covid story as we have or know someone who has gone through this. It has been a trying time. I was at home resting two days after being diagnosed with covid. My health very quickly started to crash. The hospital medical team wanted to see me virtual, they said I needed to go to the hospital. I asked if my husband could take me, we were 10 minutes away, and they said no you won't make it call 911 right now. I was supposed to go to ICU but they had no beds, they wanted to intubate me 3 diffs. Times my lungs were at risk of collapsing and were reliant on oxygen. I couldn't speak to my family for almost two weeks as I had a mask that covered my full face. Wouldn't see any family for 18 days and wouldn't be released for 20 days. While I was in the hospital My husband was praying for a new business and for guidance to get through this season and God does answer prayers.
