Initial 2020 Election Breakdown! Ft. Chris Park

John and Walter are back to discuss the election and they are joined by Comedian Mr. Chris Park, (@ChrisParkComedy) of the New Jersey Comedy Syndicate and Blazo Network.

We Talk about our Election night jitters and how this felt like the longest election ever. Would bernie would’ve done better in some states? Some people blaming “socialists” for Biden near loss and the loss of senate/house seats.

The post election analysis is going to be intriguing. Especially the fact that, we felt like it was closer- Because of the way votes were counted. But it’s also interesting, the exact states that may be won by Biden (compared to Obama & Hilary’s performance in some states) and the house/senate races that were won/lost.

Some other topics discussed: Trump challenging the election results, Fox News exit poll, Senate incumbency rate, Exit polls- Are they even useful? In this environment. Somewhat? But I think you’re gonna have to weigh what you’re looking at For instance the Fox News poll about universal healthcare might give you some insight

Some factors that may have helped or hurt outcomes. Pandemic helped? Gov of Michigan  AoC on the lost seats- Online presence, FB ads in pandemic . @AOC pointed out to the NYT: “Every single candidate that co-sponsored Medicare for All in a swing district kept their seat.” how close Abrams and AOC are on issues. Kasich saying progressives nearly cost Biden the election
Power void???
