My name is Nahom, I belong to the Ethiopian Orthodox Church.
This podcast is centralized in manifesting the theological and seemingly intellectual tenets of Ethiopian Orthodoxy in to actual life in a way that is centered in a continual relationship to the Christ we don't see physically, through His body, the Church and its Liturgical services that we see physically
The story of Lazarus' resurrection is one that I hope is recreated in me and you, the listener, throughout the episodes. May the Lord help us come out from a Pharisaic religiosity toward one that is led by the Holy Spirit toward holiness. (cf. 1st Peter 1:15-16)

Supplication to Revelation

The pattern of the Liturgical Year has brought us from the call to change our mind to a period of offering our supplication to God so that He reorients us. The fun thing about this is that the Lord did not just "give us" a solution to our sin, or problems. He BECAME and showed us the solution to our "problems" and leaving us to emulate his path from His revelation(Saint Yared).

The Divine Attributes: Again We Entreat the Trinity
Who are we talking to or about when calling "God" ? Is it the Father, The Son or the Holy Spirit? In this third and final section, we are made aware of the Attributes of the Trinity and what the term attribute means and it's cross application in different contexts in reference to the Divine God. Yohannes, John the Forerunner , the cousin of Christ, seems to be the intro of every Ethiopian year, so why not make him the intro of our podcast. ;)
Join Nahom as he unearths the meaning of the first season of the year in relation to the slogan of John, that Christ adopted, “Repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand” as it relates with the suffering of the cross that can not be spoken of without a resurrection of… flowers… in this life.
