The emphasis was on building a community and providing value to the participants. The event showcased the power of Farcaster as an onboarding tool for consumer crypto, with channels being a key feature for finding tribes and growing networks. The decentralized nature of Farcon and the decision to relinquish ownership for future events demonstrated the commitment to decentralization and community-driven initiatives.
