Mom Gone Wild
In this episode, I sit down with my best friend from college to reminisce about our study abroad trip to Mexico. Sometimes as Moms, we look back and can hardly remember the people we used to be. This story seems like lifetimes ago, and sometimes like it wasn't even my life at all! Here, we recap a particular part of our trip where we hopped a bus to Acapulco and had the WILDEST two days we ever could have dreamed up. From all things bungee jumps...to the most INSANE wedding we had no business being at...we recap it all!

The Beginning of BS
I don't mean what you might think by BS. In this case, I mean the beginning of Brittany and Scott. While admittedly we are all over the map in this episode, we had a lot of fun together. It was fun taking a walk down memory lane. My husband is a little hard to keep on track and our sarcasm may not always translate the best...haha...but he really is my best friend and just getting to sit down and have some uninterrupted time to look back where it all began was pretty fun. He's been there with me through both the best and the worst times of my life and he's always the best supporter and hype man on the planet. Forever grateful for him and his humor and his heart. Confidence of a Kid
In this episode, I run through my B's of the week, including the high of launching a podcast and the reality of narrating your days till the end of time as a parent. I also fumble my way through talking about wanting to get back to a place of childhood confidence based on finding the first portrait of myself that my kid drew years ago. If we could all be as confident as our children.....what a better life that would be.
Being a SAHM versus being a working outside the home mom are both hard. They are very different kinds of hard...and for me...being a SAHM is a lot more difficult for me than being a corporate mom because I'm new at it. I hold myself to a high standard and right now I don't feel like I'm meeting that. Don't get me wrong...I am very grateful for the opportunity to be able to stay home with my kids during this season of their lives...but being real....it's HARD. Mentally hard and hard on my patience. But like everything else....i'm CONFIDENT that with a little practice I will get this figured out!
