Uncle Walter's Year of Wonder - June
Uncle Walter's Year of Wonder. Near Lake Huron, in the Grey Water Area, Uncle Water recalls growing up in the 70's, before computers, before unsocial media, and before people forgot what was important.
June, when the days are long, and time seems to come to a standstill. Young Walter is struck by how time would take him from one end of the Summer holidays to the other, but how? What is time?
So Walter makes a pact with the Summer Solstice, and wants to see the sun rise and set and experience time passing. But not everyone understands, or cares, what his plans are.
A tale of self-awareness, the passage of time, and where we are in it.
Listen as Uncle Walter tells a June story about discovering the mysteries of time and space for a sixteen year old. Featuring Marty Garavaglia as Uncle Walter.
