I feel so appreciative to have stumbled into the Wülfpack family a few years ago, and am forever grateful for their friendship, love, and support. With this installment of the Wülfpack Podcast, I chose to focus on our nights we’ve all spent together in the desert, under the stars, our family, our pack, one with the vibe. In this world, we are free to go deep, über techy, melodic, with the focus on losing ourselves to the music, and the experience! Welcome to pack life! When selecting tracks for this mix I was thinking that I wanted to put something together that, in a way, was for a nice Sunday drive. It’s more housey for sure and a little on the softer side with some quirky elements and yes, it’s funky.

Well, what can I say... Wulfpack is a fantastic community, musical hub and record label that I've had the pleasure of watching evolve from its humble beginnings, albeit from a distance -- in my home city of Chicago. After getting to experience the ways of the Wulfpack firsthand and befriending the members of its high council, it was an honor and a no-brainer for me to accept their invitation to submit a guestmix and contribute to a future label release when the invitation was offered to me. The label offers a spectrum of sounds, ranging from deep to tech-house to melodic, and those are all sounds that resonate with me. And when paired with the pack's ideals, vision, and friendships I've made, it makes for something I'm truly happy to align myself with.

The mix I've exclusively crafted for this occasion contains a collection of tracks that I'm really feeling at the moment. Some are brand new. Some are not. Some I've had a role in producing or making a custom edit. Some tracks I've simply chosen because I love them. I've gone with an overall deep kind-of-vibe here, fused with a melodic and slightly more peak-hour momentum, without abandoning the confines of its original concept and feel. I've also tried to have this musical compilation take a few unexpected twists and turns to keep the listener on their toes, because after all, many times the journey IS the destination.

Over the last 6 months I've been truly fortunate to have been included in the Wulfpack collective. Their support and love for what I do has been inspiring to say the least.

Delving deep into my record box I put together a mix that captures the sounds and moods that resonate with me at the moment.

The journey starts off with some melodic delights, whilst shifting gears into some driving tech house, followed by a final crescendo of progressive sounds.

This was a set i'll never forget playing. Opening up the decks for the Wulfpacks first camp event at Burning Man was an absolute honor and one hell of a good time. This mix is a recording of that live set, with minimal edits made to remove the generator dieing mid way through! Featured here is a collection of some current favorites and a few classics from my collection spanning everything from melodic vocal house to deep tech. All deep, all unique and mixed on my 4 channel Reloop controller, no post editing. Mixed with a few audio clips of Alan Watts, also a favorite of mine.. Finishing it off with one of the heaviest, most driving tracks from Petar Dundov.. Hope you enjoy :)
