Welcome to parenthood. It is not easy. It is not always "Happily Ever After". And yes, you may be going through challenges. We've been there in some way or another. This podcast is designed to help you find some answers, maybe get a little relief, maybe have some chuckles and laughs at my expense or the expense of other participants here who share their fun, ridiculous, awesome, amazing life stories of what's going on and how they're dealing with this crazy ride called parenthood.

Welcome to Babyproof Your Marriage. In life, when we find out we have a child, we baby proof our house, we baby proof our car, we crawl around on the floor, we pretend we're a baby, but do we baby proof our marriage?

That is a question that often gets overlooked. Our relationship gets put on the side as we're so busy nesting and preparing for our child that we don't necessarily prepare ourselves for the relationships, the hormonal shifts, all the challenges and things that we don't know we're going to face. We don't know what we don't know is the situation here.

Whether you're in a new relationship or you've been with this person for a long time, having a child together is an amazing adventure. And sometimes our own personal hopes and dreams, things that we seek that we want to achieve, get put on the sidelines.
That happens but the dreams and goals don't have to disappear forever. You can find a way to do them. I know we're already super busy. So we're going to talk about how to create a life legacy, how to create a game plan and how to get your relationship working in a great way so that you feel great about your relationship and that you feel great about your parenting and that you feel just better overall that you're doing the best you know how to do.

The baby did not come with an instruction manual. I know there are thousands and thousands of books about parenting, about babies and what they go through about toddlers, about even marriage, but there are not books about baby proofing your marriage about what you go through and the few that are out there, are not taking it from a business perspective.

Here we're taking a business perspective to look at your relationships, setting goals, making financial plans, creating a legacy, and creating an exit strategy because we all need a break, whether it's taking some time off, or taking a date night. There's all sorts of different plans and methods for making this work.
