The American Heart Association Teaching Garden started as an entrepreneurship program that has grown in to a farmer's market creating opportunities in marketing and business skills for high school students.
Students go through a two phase process to incorporate entrepreneurship skills by selling the produce they grow at farmer's markets at the school. The students design their markets, including marketing, harvesting, selling, etc. The produce is then sold on a “donation” basis. Located in Los Angeles, California.
