Me before You – A pendullumic sonnet by Pendullum

Me before You – A pendullumic sonnet by Pendullum

While going through my gallery, I found Little Songs by Pendullum, and now, I regret not having read the book earlier. It's a poetry anthology filled with a wide range of emotions such as regret, pain, loss, dejection, love, hope, romance, desire, and passion. I chose a poem whose theme is love. It warmed my heart. I hope it warms yours too. Thank you for always listening!🥺

    CRYPTIC TOMB(Seeking Sanctuary)

    CRYPTIC TOMB(Seeking Sanctuary)

Society has over the years glorified male toxicity, making it seem like a bad thing for the male gender to express their feelings, emotions. They forget they are humans too. The Eleventh Gentlemen in his book, Seeking Sanctuary has written about these things; their fears, weaknesses, traumas, and their growth. I voiced two poems from the book. Listen with an open mind. Let the words sink truly. “Now Little boy is grown How much, we do not know; He sees with eyes of fire His promised tomorrow
    And he now understands.”
