Jahara "FRANKY" Matisek teaches in the Department of National Security
Affairs (NSA) as a Military Professor at the U.S. Naval War College.
Previously, he was an Associate Professor in the MSS Department, Senior
Fellow at HDI, Fellowship Director for IWI, and T-53 Instructor Pilot.
He holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from Northwestern University with a
Graduate Certificate in African Studies. He has been published over 90
