It was soon a case on everyones minds, both in Ireland and much further afield. Every case is horrific, but certain cases leave a lasting and profound impact in huge ways... in ways we have not experienced before. Between May 2011 and June 2013 Dr Christopher Duntsch performed surgery on 38 people. 32 were left with life changing injuries, in some cases completely paralysed, and 2 would die.

On Thanksgiving weekend 2022, residents in a small cul-de-sac in Riverside, California, noticed a red Kia Soul driving around the area. The driver would get out and walk around for a while before driving off. Neighbours thought it strange and contacted the police. Little did anyone know, just a few hours later, a house would be up in flames and the police would be on the hunt for a murderer and kidnapper.
