    Kazuo Ishiguro's 'The Buried Giant' is a beautiful fable about memory and loss. Ishiguro is a well known British writer who wrote Never Let Me Go.

    Mitch Albom's 'The Five People You Meet in Heaven' is a short and poignant book which really makes you think. The main protagonist Eddie dies at age 83 and he thinks his life has had no meaning, until he meets five people in heaven...
