Boat Lifestyle becomes Official Licensee of ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Retail Updates

India’s leading homegrown technology brands, bOAt has announced its partnership with the ongoing Cricket World cup. Hosted by International Cricket Council, the Men’s series is being held in India all through October & November ‘23. The final match will be held on 19 Nov. at Ahmedabad, Gujarat. 

bOAt is the Official Licensee of the series. Aman Gupta, Co-Founder and CMO at bOAT Lifestyle shared the announcement on his LinkedIn post.

“Cricket is more than just a game. For every Indian, cricket is an emotion. I still remember the day we got Hardik Pandya as the first ever boAthead. And since then our association with cricket has only been growing from more boAtheads to IPL teams. I am excited to announce that this year, we are a part of the biggest cricketing event- ICC Mens Cricket World Cup 2023. Manifesting India's win as we take over the world in every sense.”

The company reported revenue from operations of INR 2,873 Cr for FY ‘22 up by 118.67% as against Rs 1,314 crore in FY ‘21. boAt's profits for FY ‘22 shrank by 20.6% to INR 68.7 crore in the previous fiscal year, compared to INR 86.5 crore in FY ‘21.

Boat Lifestyle raised INR 500 Cr (USD 60.7 Mn) in its latest funding round, which was Series C round held in Oct. ‘22. The company has raised a total funding of INR 1,430 Cr (USD 171 Mn) till date over 9 rounds.
