In any race, shouldering an unnecessary burden is a surefire way to lose. Jesus invites us to lay the weight of our sin at His feet, following Him in true freedom

When life gets hard, remember that we stand on the shoulders of giants. God encourages us to persevere by looking back on the faithfulness of those who have come before.

There is no love, no mercy, no other like him. From persecution, to death on the cross, to rising from the dead - Jesus is like no other.

Jesus redefined Israel’s expectations of what the Messiah would look like. Rather than being a military hero, he died on a cross. Christians should pattern our lives on the life of Jesus. We are called to be humble and obedient, even in the face of suffering.

In prayer, Jesus warmly invites us to "ask, seek, and knock," assuring that despite the lack of predictable outcomes, a universal journey unfolds, rooted in trust. It's a trust that embraces the goodness of God, His comforting presence in our struggles, and the promise that He will beautifully renew all things.
