Just his week, the United States vetoed again a resolution in the UN to recognize Palestine as a State, a move that would trigger other provisions to protect the citizenry there.

    Was there in spirit today, as Christina attended and recorded the event on the lawn of the B.C. Legislative Buildings today. She reports about 200 Victorians attending in solidarity, while some dozen or so counter-demonstrators were there to express sympathy with the Israeli state as it's murderous campaign of genocide and dispossession against the Palestinian people of Gaza and increasingly in the West Bank grinds on.



    Today also marked a turning point perhaps in the situation in the region, with Iran, Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, and Yemen retaliating together against Israel's illegal bombing and assassination campaigns that have plagued their respective nations for so long.
