Learning to love the Word of God isn't just possible--it is doable for ordinary people. You don't need to be a scholar. You don't even really need to love to read. All you need to do is to start approaching the Bible with a different kind of mindset. 

This week at Maplewood, Pastor Joe continues to make the case for why people following Jesus should strive to personally study and learn the Bible. In a world turned upside down, the world is hungry for truth--and Bible is the only thing that can feed our hungry hearts.

Too often, the church takes for granted that people actually know how to study the Scriptures. But how can they know if they are not taught? Over the next few weeks, Maplewood is going to be exploring what it means to consume God's word for the spiritual nutrition we need. And it starts with one simple step. 

This week at Maplewood marks our Annual Meeting as a congregation. We are humbled to minister to the spiritual needs of our community. And we know that before we can do more, we must allow God to do more in us. This week, join us as we explore how God might use us in the days ahead, even if we feel like the weakest link.
