Episode 37 - Phil Spearman: Cervélo : Building better bikes (plus some Architecture and Design chat)

Hello and welcome to 2021! For this first episode of the year I talk with Phil Spearman, Global Product Marketing Manager at Cervélo. Phil and I have had many, many phone calls recently (news on why in this podcast ironically) and I thought it would be great for us to have a chat about some of the things we have discussed. Phil is now in his 10th year at Cervélo and previously used to teach and work for another cycling super power, Shimano. Enjoy!

    Episode 35 - 91 Descents : What Happened.

    Episode 35 - 91 Descents : What Happened.

Every day in the United Kingdom, approximately 13 men die by suicide each day in the UK. That’s 91 a week.

At the end of November I descended Box Hill 91 times to the depth of the deepest and darkest point on the earth, the Mariana Trench, 11,034 meters. To help raise funds for Movember (https://uk.movember.com/team/2376383?mc=1&utm_campaign=copy-clipboard&utm_medium=share&utm_source=dynamic) and awareness for men’s mental health and how important it is to check in.

This podcast is recorded once again with the awesome Emily from Attacus where we discuss what happened.

Episode 34 - Ella Harris : CANYON//SRAM The life of a professional cyclist

Episode 34 - Ella Harris : CANYON//SRAM The life of a professional cyclist

Ella Harris, the winner of the 2018 Zwift Academy (https://zwift.com/academy) , earned something most riders can only dream of: a professional cycling contract at leading women’s pro cycling team CANYON//SRAM.

The move to pro cycling saw Ella relocate thousands of miles away from her home in New Zealand to live in Girona, Spain with her new teammates as CANYON//SRAM’s newest rider.

Ella is a thoroughly awesome human who talks honestly and openly about everything we discussed in this podcast, from whether there should be a women's Tour De France to secret Peanut Butter hacks.

    Enjoy!

Episode 33 - Paul Sollenberger: CeramicSpeed Refining Efficiency and Change in Cycling

Episode 33 - Paul Sollenberger: CeramicSpeed Refining Efficiency and Change in Cycling

I, probably like a lot of people have been thoroughly interested in CeramicSpeed and what they have done to the cycling industry in the last few years. Everything from the Driven bike to the oversized systems has truly caught my eye with interest. So I thought, this could be a great opportunity to talk top bike geekery and tacos with Paul Sollenberger.
    Enjoy!
