Let's talk about Bourbon. ...and whatever else comes to us. Two best friends who grew up in Kentucky and have known each other for more than 30 years sit down for a pour of bourbon (or whiskey, or whatever sounds good!) and share. We rate our bourbon pours from the every man's view (though we're starting to mature our palette), share some history about the whiskey we're drinking, talk about the history of bourbon, and share our own stories. Long-time story tellers we are, and long-winded at that, we like to laugh a lot, share a lot, and hope that you'll enjoy sitting down with us for two pours.

#7 - Lucky Number 7 Flight
Brad and Derrick sit down and share a flight of 7-themed whiskeys.Not 7 of them. We kick things off with discussing two whiskeys that are aged to 7 years (Bernheim wheated whiskey and Old Ezra #7) and then we moved to two more pours of whiskeys with 7 in their name (Seagram's 7 and Jack Daniels Old No. 7). # 6 - EH Taylor Blind Flight
Brad and Derrick sit down for a special blind tasting flight. Brad's wife helps out with this episode by being our pour master. We line up 3 EH Taylor bottles - 4-grain, Small Batch, Single Barrel - and have her pour samples of each for us to try in a blind side-by-side tasting. We then compare notes and reveal on the air. Brad and Derrick sample a pair of Booker's pours - the 2019-4 Beaten Biscuits and the 2020-1 Granny's Batch. Derrick and I have had a bit of a hiatus. The world got a little topsy-turvy in spring 2020 and like everyone else, our lives were turned a little upside down. We take out the flagship for a spin in a "secret tasting" again where we taste together off the air, then share our notes with each other on the podcast.
