Camel Assembly Radio is brought to you by Yelda and Keshia, founders of the global womxn's movement Camel Assembly.
What began as a brunch in 2015 has turned into an international movement, driven by a mission to see people #marchingdaily: channeling the passion and vehemence of a protest or march into everyday efforts towards self and community.
Each week, Keshia Hannam (speaker) & Yelda Ali (DJ) share stories from their lives and everyday experiences in New York City, plus invite two influential women to speak on topics unrelated to their work. Funny, moving, inspirational and well-represented, Camel Assembly Radio is the sound of a community of women who are using their gifts and energy to improve the world and stand for what they believe, daily.

Yelda, an Afghan artist and activist, and Keshia, a multi-racial speaker and writer, have built Camel Assembly communities around the world together as business partners for four years. But they're also best friends, and have journeyed through peace and pain to build theirs and each others' dreams.
