In this ”Identity” episode, we will get to know who God IS at His core, His nature, and character.  What is it like when you encounter God by His various Names?  Jesus clarifies what it means that He is an Omni-God:  omniscient, omnipresent, omnibenevolent, and omnipotent. Dr. Patty shares three categories of God’s Names: those that clarify who He is apart from us,  those that show who He is related to Us, and those that show our relationship to Him.   Jesus chimes in to clarify the scriptures throughout.  Dr. Patty shares a story from her life that reveals how God showed up as many of these Names.   Jesus will take you to a memory of when He showed up as one or more key Names and shows you which Names  for which He wants you to trust Him more for in your Experience Jesus encounter time.

In this ”how-to” and identity episode we will explore what it takes to welcome the Holy Spirit and allow Him to fully occupy your heart so you may be and do all that He created you for.  Dr. Patty shares how the definition of the promised land for the old covenant Israelites differs from the new covenant Jesus followers today.  What does God’s promise of presence, property and people relate to your destined calling?  How much of your heart does God want you to surrender?  What can it look like in your life when you learn how to walk by the Spirit and what’s the process to get there?  Jesus offers insight into what it looks like when you allow God to occupy more and more of your heart.  He also addresses the issues of ”self” and identifies it as the biggest barrier to you fulfilling your calling.    Jesus shows you your heart and shares what would make Him feel more welcome to dwell there in your Experience Jesus encounter time.
