2 Corinthians 5:10 tells how we all will stand before the judgement seat of Christ where our works will be tried by fire. This lesson continues in the teaching of the Birth of Jesus. The Incarnation was bitterly contested then as it is now. In John 20:30-31, John states the purpose of him writing this gospel is for us to believe that Jesus is the Messiah--God manifest in the flesh, and that we must believe in Him in order to have eternal life and escape eternal death. The fact the Bible teaches the Virgin Birth in Matthew 1:18-25, can't be denied. One can reject it, but not deny it. Discover more about how Christmas celebrates the Incarnation -- God with us: by a hypostatic union, the child being fully God and fully man conceived in the womb of a Jewish Virgin by a supernatural insemination. This was done to save us all from sin.
