585 Prevention is hosted by Partners for Prevention in Allegany County(PPAC). PPAC is a coalition made up of nonprofit agencies, law enforcement, schools, businesses, and concerned community members, who want to make Allegany County a better and safe place to live, work, play, and grow up. 585 Prevention will cover a wide range of prevention topics that are important and ongoing in Allegany County, New York. The purpose of the 585 Prevention is to help educate community members and build awareness on issues in Allegany County and supportive events happening in the community.
