What's the deal with *medical* marijuana?

What's the deal with *medical* marijuana?

In this episode, I chat with founders of the Georgia Medical Cannabis Society, Angela Weston and Yolanda Bennett. Weston and Barrett have been involved with the medical cannabis industry since 2017, after they both became medical cannabis patients. The reason they started Georgia Medical Cannabis Society (GMCS) was to assist indigent medical cannabis patients in seeking medical cannabis oil for people that suffer from chronic conditions. I speak with them over a recent introduced piece of legislation, House Bill 738, by Representative Pedro Marin (D-Duluth) that would legalize mariijuana all over Georgia, for production, manufacturing, and dispensing. In Georgia now, patients with chronic conditions are only able to receive a prescription for a low THC oil. I speak with Weston and Barrett who are in support of this bill passing.
