Different Noises 45
This selection of new releases and classic tracks is perhaps a little more eclectic than usual. There are a variety of genres on show with Lulaworld Records contributing an excellent set of releases. There’s also a focus on the Snarski Brothers and other Australian sounds including Ben Corbett’s new band with their stunning new album.

Different Noises 43
There is always a market for nostalgia, all those albums you used to see listed and reviewed in NME or Sounds that you couldn’t afford back in the day. They are back in abundance, mostly via Cherry Red who put out countless box sets of music from the 60s 70s and 80s. There’s a lot of that in here. There’s also new things, they are rather “extreme” and they kick off the show. If you want the quieter stuff you will have to be patient as it comes later on. In addition there is jazz, punk, and my usual obsessions. Featuring music from Giant Spider, Locusts and Honey, Carnwennan, Buffalo Monroe, Edgar Broughton Band, The Residents, Lindisfarne. The Observers, Blokeacola, Jess Ribeiro, Slyboots, SnarskiCircusLindyBand, The Anti-Queens, Chapman Whitney Streetwalkers, The Dave Graney Show, Meat Puppets, 2 Lost Souls, The Go-Betweens, The Triffids, The Fall, Four Candles, Kid Congo & the Pink Monkey Birds
