It’s NBA Finals week and we got the longest tenured assistant coach in the league on to talk shop. Mavs’ coach Darrell Armstrong joins Q and D to break it all down. Darrell discusses his journey from undrafted to playing overseas to having a 13-year NBA career. He talks about transitioning from player to coach, what it’s been like working with Luka and Kyrie, and how much he respects J Kidd. We got one of the league’s young studs in the building this week. The number two pick in last year’s draft, the Hornets’ own Brandon Miller joins Q and D this week on Knuckleheads. The trio takes a look back at Brandon as a three-sport athlete, checking the stats on his pitching and quarterbacking résumés. Brandon discusses his rise during high school and how he considered going overseas instead of to college, as well as just how he dominated at Bama. The conference finals are in full swing and we’re back Tappin’ in to discuss it all. Last night Dallas made a statement in Game 1 on Minnesota’s home court in a game that went down to the wire. The guys discuss the adjustments the T-Wolves will have to make to put themselves in a better position in Game 2, as well as what Ant Ed has to do to conserve energy for the entire 48 minutes. They also look at the thriller in Boston, as the Celtics withstood a great effort by the Pacers to take Game 1. They look onto tonight’s Game 2 in the East and what Indy can do to take positives from that tough Game 1 loss. It’s the best time of the year — tap in!
