2018 Secretary of State Forum
AIA Georgia and AIA Atlanta joined forces to host a special forum and breakfast with the candidates from Georgia’s Secretary of State race—an election that will profoundly affect the architecture profession.
AIA Georgia President and NCARB Architect Licensing Advisor Kathryn Bedette, AIA served as moderator with introductions by Equity in Architecture's Ann Rogers.
The Georgia Primary on May 22, resulted in former U.S. Congressman John Barrow securing the Democratic nomination, while Alpharetta Mayor David Belle Isle (Alpharetta) and State Representative Brad Raffensberger (Johns Creek) will have a runoff on July 24, for the Republican nomination. All made themselves available for the forum on June 28th. -
