Is Dancing a Sport?
We are honored to have on the show Frank Gatson Jr. He is an award winning choreographer. He recently returned to Milwaukee to help make a difference in his community with partnering with the YWCA. For more details about the organization visit www.isupportthemission.org. We will learn all about how dancing is a sport and how it can help all athletes. Dance is the movement of the body in a rhythmic way, usually to music and within a given space, for the purpose of expressing an idea or emotion, releasing energy, or simply taking delight in the movement itself. Dance also fits the definition of a sport because it requires skill, physical prowess and being competitive.
