We continue our series through Exodus by looking at more of the laws that make up the Book of the Covenant. How do these ancient laws apply to us today?

In Exodus 21 God begins to give Moses the contents of the Book of the Covenant. These laws may seem arbitrary (and even archaic) to our modern eyes but they actually tell us a lot about God's character and who He is.

The 10 Commandments mark the first part of the Book of the Covenant - which God gave to Moses on Mt Sinai. This week we discuss the 8 Biblical covenants and what they mean.

In Exodus 17 the Israelites experience confrontation from INSIDE the group and from OUTSIDE from the Amalekites. Here we see that the physical battles are won in through spiritual warfare. In chapter 18 Moses is visited by Jethro who educates him on how to delegate authority. Both chapters hold significant lessons for our own lives today.
