1 In the second year of the reign of Nebuchadnezzar, Nebuchadnezzar had dreams; his spirit was troubled, and his sleep left him. 2 Then the king commanded that the magicians, the enchanters, the sorcerers, and the Chaldeans be summoned to tell the king his dreams. So they came in and stood before the king. 3 And the king said to them, “I had a dream, and my spirit is troubled to know the dream.” 4 Then the Chaldeans said to the king in Aramaic, “O king, live forever! Tell your servants the dream, and we will show the interpretation.” 5 The king answered and said to the Chaldeans, “The word from me is firm: if you do not make known to me the dream and its interpretation, you shall be torn limb from limb, and your houses shall be laid in ruins. 6 But if you show the dream and its interpretation, you shall receive from me gifts and rewards and great honor. Therefore show me the dream and its interpretation.” 7 They answered a second time and said, “Let the king tell his servants the dream, and we will show its interpretation.” 8 The king answered and said, “I know with certainty that you are trying to gain time, because you see that the word from me is firm--9 if you do not make the dream known to me, there is but one sentence for you. You have agreed to speak lying and corrupt words before me till the times change. Therefore tell me the dream, and I shall know that you can show me its interpretation.” 10 The Chaldeans answered the king and said, “There is not a man on earth who can meet the king’s demand, for no great and powerful king has asked such a thing of any magician or enchanter or Chaldean. 11 The thing that the king asks is difficult, and no one can show it to the king except the gods, whose dwelling is not with flesh.” 12 Because of this the king was angry and very furious, and commanded that all the wise men of Babylon be destroyed.








If you misread the clock, you’ll make mistakes. But if you know what time it is, you’ll make the right choices.








I. The Dream Dilemma







DANIEL 2:1-4 ESV

We have to understand that there are things that we can never figure out without God.

II. The Dream Revealed







DANIEL 2:14-16 ESV



14 Then Daniel replied with prudence and discretion to Arioch, the captain of the king’s guard, who had gone out to kill the wise men of Babylon.15 He declared to Arioch, the king's captain, “Why is the decree of the king so urgent?” Then Arioch made the matter known to Daniel.16 And Daniel went in and requested the king to appoint him a time, that he might show the interpretation to the king.

17 Then Daniel went to his house and made the matter known to Hananiah,

Busa ipadayag kanako ang damgo ug ang hubad niini.” 7 Mitubag sila sa ikaduhang higayon, “Ipasulti sa hari ngadto sa iyang mga alagad ang iyang damgo, ug kami magpadayag sa hubad niini.” 8 Ang hari mitubag, “Ako nasayod gayod nga kamo buot maglangan sa panahon tungod kay nakita man ninyo nga ang pulong nga gikan kanako dili kaduhaduhaan, 9 nga kon kamo dili makapadayag kanako sa damgo, adunay usa lamang ka silot alang kaninyo. Kamo misugot sa pagsulti ug bakak ug daotan nga mga pulong sa akong atubangan, hangtod nga mausab ang panahon. Busa isulti kanako ang damgo ug ako mahibalo nga kamo makapadayag kanako sa hubad niini.” 10 Ang mga Caldeanhon mitubag sa hari, “Walay usa ka tawo sa yuta nga makahatag sa gipangayo sa hari kay walay bantogan ug gamhanan nga hari nga nakapangayo ug ingon nianang butanga sa mga salamangkiro o sa tigpanglamat o sa Caldeanhon. 11 Ang butang nga gipangayo sa hari lisod ug walay bisan kinsa nga makapadayag niini sa hari gawas sa mga dios nga ang puluy-anan dili uban sa unod.” 12 Tungod niini ang hari nasuko ug napungot sa hilabihan ug nagsugo nga pamatyon ang tanang maalamon nga mga tawo sa Babilonia.







I. ANG PROBLEMA SA DAMGO

II. ANG PAGPADAYAG SA DAMGO







Daniel 2:14 (Ang Biblia)



14 Unya si Daniel mitubag uban ang kaalam ug kaligdong ngadto kang Arioc, ang kapitan sa mga bantay sa hari nga miadto aron sa pagpatay sa mga tawong maalamon sa Babilonia.

17 Unya miadto si Daniel sa iyang balay ug gipahibalo ang maong butang ngadto kang Anania

The good news of the rapture is: I’ll be there. You’ll be there. We’ll all be there if we believe in him.

13 But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope. 14 For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep. 15 For this we declare to you by a word from the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore encourage one another with these words.







I. The Problem







1 THESSALONIANS 1:9-10 ESV



9 For they themselves report concerning us the kind of reception we had among you, and how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God, 10 and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come.

6 And you became imitators of us and of the Lord, for you received the word in much affliction, with the joy of the Holy Spirit,

14 For you, brothers, became imitators of the churches of God in Christ Jesus that are in Judea. For you suffered the same things from your own countrymen as they did from the Jews,

Jesus will bring the faithful departed with him when he comes back.

When the believer dies, they will immediately be brought into the presence of God.








“Soul sleep” is an unbiblical belief that after a person dies, his/her soul “sleeps” until the resurrection and final judgment.







2 CORINTHIANS 5:8 ESV



8 Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord.







LUKE 23:43 ESV



43 And he said to him, “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise.”








Death is temporary for the believer.








JOHN 11:11 ESV



11 After saying these things, he said to them, “Our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep, but I go to awaken him.”

2 And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

II. The Participants

Mao kini ang gipasabot; nga si Hesus namatay ug ang mga Kristohanon daw sa nahikatulog lang tungod kay giangkon ni Hesus ang kayugot sa Dios diri kanato ug siya namatay puli kanato. Ug ang iyang kamatayon, kamatayon sa usa ka kalag nga gisulatan ug siya ang miangkon mao nga ang kamatayon sa mga magtotoo dili na usa ka tunglo sa sala kundili sama ra sa nahikatulog tungod kay giangkon nani Hesus ang silot sa kamatayon nga alang unta kanato.



Kun mahanaw na ang atong lawas, wala kita mamatay apan sama ra sa nahikatug. Tungod kay si Hesus ang namatay.

If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. 4 And you know the way to where I am going.” 5 Thomas said to him, “Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know the way?” 6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Maoy unang mabanhaw kadtong nangamatay nga nagtuo kang Cristo. 17 Unya kita nga buhi pa niadtong adlawa, bayawon uban kanila didto sa mga panganod aron pagsugat sa Ginoo. Ug kita unya uban na kanunay sa Ginoo. 18 Busa pagdasigay kamo tungod niining paglaoma.
