This is the first episode where we dig a little deeper into an Anthropological topic and a favourite for many people; FOOD! There is a special experiential surprise for you at the end of the episode, but first, we discuss classical theories (and others that are not) which help in understanding why we eat what we eat, why we eat it the way we do, and how does this impact our lives and the environment we live in.

This episode will cover an introduction of another discipline concerned with ethnography, namely, Ethnology. We will touch upon the history of the  discipline, the differences between Ethnology and Anthropology, and what ethnologists do today!

What is culture? how different thinkers toyed with the term? And why is it important to help us untangle ethnocentrism in the discourse? This episode discusses just that!
