93.7 The Fan Sports Director Jeff Hathhorn joined the show. The guys asked Jeff about some of his final thoughts ahead of the NFL Draft and which direction the Steelers could be going in. Jeff didn’t necessarily think what was happening with the Alex Highsmith contract reconstruction happening right before the draft. Jeff said he is not closing the door on the idea of Brandon Aiyuk as a Steeler. The guys asked Jeff how many players the Steelers have ahead of Graham Barton, who seems to be the favorite to be their pick. If the Steelers had their choice at tackle, who would be their selection? 

Hour 3: 20 years ago today, the 2004 NFL Draft took place and the Steelers selected Ben Roethlisberger with the 11th overall pick. We have Ben to thank for 2 more Super Bowls, but is he an all-time great? The Morning Show had a discussion today and there was actually a debate of Ben being better than Peyton Manning. Where does Ben rank on an all-time list? How many all-time players do the Steelers have? 

Aditi Kinkhabwala from the NFL on CBS joined the show. Aditi doesn’t think Brandon Aiyuk will be coming to Pittsburgh. If it’s not Aiyuk, could it be Courtland Sutton from the Broncos? Aditi thinks JC Latham is a player the Steelers should not let get passed them tomorrow night. The guys asked Aditi her thoughts on the QBs that are expected to go in the 1st round. Aditi said it’s hard to fathom that there may only be one defensive player going in the top 10. The guys asked Aditi who they will take at 20th tomorrow night.

Hour 2: It’s been reported that the Steelers are not exercising the 5th year option for Justin Fields. But is there a chance they could make a deal with Fields before the season begins? Then what would they do with Russell Wilson in that instance? How good would the numbers need to be for Wilson to keep him around beyond this season? 

Could the Steelers kick the tires on one of the QBs that will likely go later in the 1st round like Michael Penix Jr. or Bo Nix? Should the Steelers make a big swing on a trade tomorrow night and try to make the biggest splash of the 1st round? 

Mike Florio from Pro Football Talk joined the show. Mike said everyone has gotten “quiet” on the trade involving Brandon Aiyuk and he isn’t sure the 49ers will get the 20th overall pick from the Steelers if the deal is made. Mike gave a few other teams that could be in on Aiyuk. Mike doesn’t think it is a coincidence that the Steelers are restructuring the deal of Alex Highsmith right ahead of the draft. The guys asked Mike if Courtland Sutton should be one the Steelers’ target list if they can’t land Aiyuk. He thinks the Steelers will at least consider drafting Michael Penix if he is available at 20th overall. How can the Steelers make a deal with Justin Fields?
