However, true faith in Jesus calls us to show no partiality toward others and to love your neighbor as yourself.

Christians are called to live a different life. Living out the Christian life requires us to receive the Word of God with an undistracted heart and act on it continually. The blessing of this calling is found in our receptivity and response.

You may have heard the saying, “When life hands you lemons, make lemonade!” It’s not always easy getting through the trials and tribulations life can bring, but we can live with confidence that facing trials with faith in Jesus will help us to be overcomers. God uses trials in life to form our character and make us more like Jesus.

Endurance is non-negotiable in the Christian life. As followers of Jesus, we can expect to be intensely opposed. While there are different kinds of situations we will need to endure, the main thing to keep in mind is that the distance of our endurance depends on the depth of our love for God.
