Can one aim for a life of success and it be counted as such when it's accomplished through deceit? If one wants to speak with authority but lives a life of gossip? If one aims for courage but constantly thrives in fear? If one desires vulnerability and humility but camps in pride? It was the thought that counts, correct? Well... Jesus offers a counter cultural invitation to this common phrase and life motto.
