Shooting on the Set (Reed Trial)
In 2021, cinematographer Halyna Hutchins was shot and killed in a tragic accident that occurred on the set of the movie, Rust. The film's armorer, 24-year-old Hannah Guitierrez-Reed was eventually charged with involuntary manslaughter. Alec Baldwin, who was starring in the film, was also charged and is set to go on trial in July 2024.

The Exoneration of CJ Rice
In 2024, CJ Rice was exonerated after serving 12 years in prison for attempted murder - a crime he was not physically capable of committing.
In this episode, we speak with CNN anchor Jake Tapper, who originally wrote about CJ in The Atlantic, and whose father, Dr. Theodore Tapper, played an integral role in the case.
