Sometimes it can be difficult to find hope in everyday situations. Maybe you or someone you know struggles with negative thoughts, and it feels like every day is a bad day. In this message, we’re learning how to fight against negativity and find the positive.


Sometimes, we’re facing battles that no one else can see. Maybe it’s trying to move forward after loss or uneasiness about the future. What do we do when we don’t understand what we’re feeling and hope seems far away? In our new series, Peace of Mind, we’ll learn how to fight our mental battles and find peace.

The Forge Community Church is a church in Suffolk with a mission to help people find and follow Jesus. The Forge meet physically in Debenham Community Center and have environments for adults kids and youth. We also offer church online so you can connect with the Forge anywhere, anytime, not just those in Mid Suffolk.

Dealing with anxious thoughts? You’re not alone. Between things like financial pressure, health problems, and job stress, it can feel like anxiety is your only option. But your mind matters to God and He wants more for you. What might it look like if we were to address anxiety from a spiritual standpoint?

God calls us to be in community, but more than that, he calls us to engage in a shared purpose; to be united as followers of Jesus. He knows we can thrive if, together, we commit ourselves to his cause in the form of the local church, with the services and programmes being the vehicle for reaching others. So are we willing to unite and risk an emotional, financial and time-costly journey with God

When we allow God to work in us, we begin to see the world the way he sees it, and we start to view others through the lens of his love. God's passion is to draw people to him, and perhaps more than anything else, this is the mission of the church. To share the good news that there is hope and love in abundance – enough to share with everyone. We don't keep our blessings to ourselves, we overflow with enthusiasm, compassion and our desire to make the church a place of welcome.

Life is better shared, and especially with people who love you and are for you. The best communities raise one another up, cheer successes, grieve alongside each other and create deep bonds of love and friendship. Our relationships within the church should be so attractive that they draw people towards God because they stand out. Those genuine connections are what everyone longs for and what the strength of God makes possible. When God's spirit unites us, togetherness takes on a new dimension.
