In this episode, we talk with Ishmael Maxwell, a senior Political Science major at Carleton College and president of the Carleton College chapter of Define American. With an Indian mother and an American father, Maxwell has spent his life working to reconcile these two identities. We discuss the challenges of this process and the tools that he used to resolve these tensions.
