Yes, it’s that time again kids, panic the American people over heat waves by blaming them on climate change.This past week several news outlets talked about the “Western Heat Wave” and tried to link it to “climate change.” Climate Central was the source of most of these stories with a press release that said:
“Between June 5-7, much of the Western United States, Mexico, and Eastern Canada are poised to experience a period of unusually hot conditions made much more likely because of human-caused climate change. During this period, over 229 million people across North America will experience extreme heat made at least three times more likely because of human-caused climate change.”
We see this every year, and we’ll see it again this year as the feckless media regurgitates the heatwave hype. We will tackle this subject, as well as go over the Crazy Climate News of the Week. Phoenix is hiring a "Chief Heat Officer," in response to rising heat related deaths, which the city blames on climate change. The truth is most of those dying are homeless or drug addicts with underlying health conditions, people already in poor health. As far as Phoenix's heat, that is due, not to climate change but the city's massive growth and related increased Urban Heat Island effect. Responding to homelessness and drug use will do far more to prevent premature deaths in Phoenix than efforts to fight climate change or control the weather.

The Heartland Institute has issued a report exposing the US government’s official land-based temperature stations as hopelessly corrupt and compromised. The study, conducted by Heartland Senior Fellow Anthony Watts – an update on a previous examination of temperature stations in 2009 – was the subject of a hit-piece by Scott Waldman of E&E News and POLITICO titled “Climate denial group wants to subvert NOAA data with its own: The Heartland Institute seeks to build da nationwide network of temperature-monitoring stations.”
Well, yes we do. And we’re doing it because too many of NOAA’s historic stations are either captured by sprawl and the urban heat-island effect, in such terrible shape that they should not be relied upon for accurate data, or not even operable at all or broken – and in those cases, NOAA just makes a guess as to the temperature. That is problematic, to say the least, since temperature readings from these crappy stations is used to panic the American people, continually, by telling them that last week or this year was “the hottest ever” and that warming is happening dangerously fast.
The mystery is why the corrupt media is attacking the setting up of up state-of-the-art temperature stations with data that can be checked in real time. Hurricane Season 2024 officially kicks off Saturday, June 1 and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) predicts a more-active-than-normal season in the Atlantic. The agency is “85% certain” that we’ll have 17-25 named storms, 8-13 hurricanes, and 4-7 major hurricanes this year.
Episode #112 of The Climate Realism Show will feature two of America’s best hurricane experts — meteorologists Joe Bastardi and Stanley Goldenberg — to talk about these predictions, and what it will mean for the East and Gulf coasts of the United States.

On episode 111 of The Climate Realism Show, we review many of the eco policies that amount to Biden's war on homeowners and the citizenry for the sake of "saving the planet" from climate change.We'll be discussing the Biden power plant rule, auto emissions rule, new ESA restrictions in Texas for a lizard, appliance rules, and more. The rules restricting gas stove and light bulbs and others supposedly to prevent so-called climate catastrophes affect our everyday choices and lives.
