Welcome to Ordinary Holiness!

What does it mean to be a friend? In this episode, Samantha and Susan discuss friendship and how God provides even in the details. Susan contributes a story about students who she thought had been friends for awhile, but really, had only recently become friends in the course of Susan's class. Samantha shares how Susan's intentional share of a podcast episode brought healing to her life. Life is about relationships. How often to we take the time to thank our friends for the gift that they are?

Susan and Samantha pray that your heart may be open to the movements of the Holy Spirit!

"No one has greater love than this, to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. You are my friends if you do what I command you. I no longer call you slaves, because a slave does not know what his master is doing. I have called you friends,* because I have told you everything I have heard from my Father. It was not you who chose me, but I who chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit that will remain, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name he may give you. This I command you: love one another." John 15:13-17

"Again they wept aloud; then Orpah kissed her mother-in-law good-bye, but Ruth clung to her." Ruth 1:14

"Take courage; get up, Jesus is calling you." Mark 10:49
