Is Possible to Both be Yourself and be Like Jesus?
God created me, formed me in my mother's womb. I'm uniquely designed and loved, right? But yet, I'm also supposed to be conforming into the image of Jesus. Can I do both? Does God want me to be a robot? Should I buy second temple period garb and start wondering around. Or is Jesus calling me to something different all together.
I highly recommend actually reading the accounts of the Rich Young Ruler, because I did an very incomplete job retelling it. It's found in Mathew 19, Mark 10, and Luke 18.
