Alexandria Covenant Church is a group of people from all walks of life who are being transformed by Jesus Christ. Every week, we join together to worship God and to experience a relevant and powerful message, which teaches truths from the Bible. We strive to be people who love Jesus, are becoming like Jesus and share Jesus with our community.

Joy in Trials
You may have heard the saying, “When life hands you lemons, make lemonade!” It’s not always easy getting through the trials and tribulations life can bring, but we can live with confidence that facing trials with faith in Jesus will help us to be overcomers. God uses trials in life to form our character and make us more like Jesus.

In the Christian life there is to be an inseparable connection between faith and action. As we study the book of James, we will see how genuine faith manifests itself in tangible deeds and righteous living, not just in empty words or beliefs. James urges believers to demonstrate their faith through acts of humility, compassion, justice, and love, highlighting that true faith is evidenced by transformed lives and active obedience to God’s word. -
Run With Endurance
Endurance is non-negotiable in the Christian life. As followers of Jesus, we can expect to be intensely opposed. While there are different kinds of situations we will need to endure, the main thing to keep in mind is that the distance of our endurance depends on the depth of our love for God.

Be Content
In the tenth commandment God requires that we consider our thoughts, attitudes, motives, and desires as we live the Christian life. God wants us to be content with what we have, not envying anyone or resenting what God has given them or us.

Many people are looking for a life of hope, freedom, and blessing. The law of God is often viewed as a list of do’s and don’ts, but it is actually God’s guide for us to experience a life of freedom filled with blessing. The ten commandments are not only God’s code of conduct for a moral life, but they help us see our need for Jesus and show us how we can live a life filled with hope. -
The Truth Matters
Telling the truth matters to God. In the ninth commandment God requires the truth be told to help promote and maintain justice within society. God wants us to speak the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. Additionally, truth-telling impacts all our relationships, and God wants us to not lie or deceive others, but to speak the truth in love.
