As a sisterhood we glean, support and encourage one another. It is our pleasure to begin a Season of Interviews with our sisters . This Sisterhood is compiled of women with tremendous testimonies,  stories and education. We want each sister to have a platform to share that knowledge; whether through experience, research or studies Behind Closed Doors will continue to offer a platform for continued growth and education together.

What better way to start this season than with an episode in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness month? This month we remember those who have lost their battle against Breast Cancer and encourage the women who are on their own journey. We are blessed by the opportunity to interview a woman of God and sister in this sisterhood Mrs. Deneetrea Henry. We get a special reflection with this interview as Mrs. Henry shares her story of loss and her journey of healing. From losing her mother to Breast & Ovarian Cancer to currently walking out her own journey due to her diagnosis on June 22, 2020 we are allotted a special chance to see two sides of the spectrum. In this interview you get a special chance to see a reflection of her mothers diagnosis and fight and how it is affecting her own journey.

Some of us are on our own journey fighting cancer, some are grieving the loss of a loved one and then there are your special few (like Deneetra) balancing both. Did you know women were the first Evangelist for Jesus? This morning we’re to look at Luke Chapter 24 and reflect on the first to see the empty tomb. That’s right, Us! Women! Let this reflection motivate you to share Gods goodness, resurrection and salvation even more than you’d done in the past. Although Resurrection Day isn’t being celebrated the way we normally do you still have many opportunities to share what Jesus has done for us.

Although we are operating out of the unknown we can still have Balance. Find a way to be Balanced even when this situation feels unsteady.

With the current status in our Nation it’s easy to feel unbalanced. This morning we’re hope to motivate you to focus on Being Still even when the world around us feels unbalanced.

Good Morning Girl ! In order to really move forward we have to be able to forgive even when the people who’ve hurt us don’t ask for forgiveness. This morning we’re going to pray and ask God to help us forgive!
