Jesus is the Lord - Mark 3:20-35
It seems like everyone has an opinion these days. While it isn't necessarily wrong to have a strong opinion, it is easy to become passionate about the wrong things. The most important thing to be passionate about is this: Jesus of Nazareth.

It's all in how you see it - Mark 2:1-12
His friends were very bold. They ripped open someone else's roof because they knew both how much help their friend needed and the one who could help him. Did Jesus miss what was wrong with the man? Of course not. He used this opportunity to teach a critical lesson.

Holy Trinity Sunday - John 3:1-17
The Bible teaches us that we worship the Trinity. The Father is God. The Son is God. The Holy Spirit is God. But we worship 1 God, not 3. That doesn't make sense, nor does the love the Holy Trinity showed to sinners. I don't understand everything about God, but I know that he loved me so much that he won salvation for me.

Let God do the counting - Acts 2:1-21
Jesus sent what he promised: his Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit empowers us to be the hands of Jesus in this world. We proclaim the Gospel in word and action. Then we let God collect his harvest.

The Ascension of our Lord - Acts 1:1-11
It is not what you know, but who you know. What would it mean for your life right now to know that Jesus is ruling over all things in heaven? He does so with you in mind and for your eternal good. Because in Jesus we are citizens of a heavenly kingdom, and Jesus wants to bring us home forever.

The way to be saved - Acts 16:16-34
What do I gotta do? Something had been eating away at the jailer. Then the moment came where his life was about to end, until some odd men called out to him. Having come face to face with death, he now wanted to know what he needed to do to be saved. The answer would surprise him yet bring him, and his family, great joy.
