Flawed & (still) worthy Ashley Gossett-Nye

In this episode, I go a little more in depth on a blog post I made entitled “Satan doesn’t really care how he takes you out of the game of life.”

This episode covers the fall of Saul, the anointing of David, and the miraculous event from the Old Testament we all know as “David and Goliath.”

This episode tells a story from my LDS mission in which I learned a valuable lesson about this exact topic. This lesson would follow me through very challenging and even dark times of my life.

It is extremely easy in life, particularly right now with all the craziness in the world going on around us to only look at ourselves, our most basic needs: What do I need to get done today? What am I going to cook for dinner? How am I going to pay our bills this month? All of these things are important and absolutely necessary but we must learn to STOP, BE STILL, PRAY in faith and then as the saying goes: “Let go and Let God!” In this episode, you will hear a story of just one tiny example of me looking outside of myself and being blessed to help just ONE person. The Lord told the parable of the 99 sheep in which one got away. Would you go after that one sheep? I did yesterday and I would again today if the Lord needed me to. Answer that for yourself after hearing this first message.
